The Melt Crowd Review - August 2016

Their melts are best used in a traditional wax burner, but they can also be used in electric warmers too making them super versatile and easy to use and with less chemicals than paraffin based candles and melts, these beautiful, hand-poured melts are the perfect choice for the more health conscious scent seeker and what’s more every melt is made in the UK too!

Bonus Treats

There’s no ‘Bonus Melt’ in this month’s box but REMEMBER……..

The Melt Crowd Review - August 2016

My Verdict

With such an amazing line up of fragrances in July’s Box, ‘The Melt Crowd’ had their work cut out for them to try to top it this month, but with the variety of scents in Augusts Box has really impressed me as instead of sticking with a more linear theme they have mixed things up to add a really adventurous assortment of scents that really does some up your Summer holidays!  So whether you’re at home in the UK enjoying our beach resorts and countryside retreats, or if you’re lucky enough to be jetting off to far away shores – your co-ordinating scent adventure is tucked neatly into this months melt selection!  I love the names of this months exclusive scents – they are perfectly named and the bright colours and refreshing, fruity and fresh fragrances are a great fit for the warmer weather!  I love that they have included another melt from the WILD Collection as I love these retro scents!  They take me back to my teens and White Musk was my go-to perfume throughout the 90’s!  The Tropical Coconut Milk & Honey Melt is bang on the current coconut trend and the Black Tea & Almond Melt has a mellow and relaxing scent that is ideal for the balmy Summer evenings!  Overall this is another great selection of melts and another prime example of why I love ‘The Melt Crowd’ so much!

My August Favourite

As a HUGE Dirty Dancing fan my August Favourite had to be I Carried a Watermelon as not only does the name make me smile from ear to ear and remind me of my long departed school Summer holidays watching the film and recreating the moves with my friends, this hot pink melt also smells heavenly and will be the first melt to meet my burner this month!
