K-Beauty and in particular Sheet Masks have begun taking the UK by storm of the past year and although it’s all still relatively new technology for me – I had only ever experienced a ‘sheet mask’ in a Creme de la Mer beauty room in the past, but I loved every minute of it – I am so pleased to see that this ground breaking beauty break through is finally becoming more mainstream and better still it’s also really affordable for us normal girls too making it so easy and inexpensive to indulge our skin on a regular basis! So as I now have no excuse not to have sparkling skin at all times, I am looking forward to sitting back and relaxing… I mean testing these gorgeous ‘Lovely your Skin’ Sheet masks!
About the Brand
B Beauty Limited or 美 Beauty to give it its true name was created in 2015 by Lisa and Madoka after a trip to Tokyo where they discovered the benefits of Essence Infused Cotton Sheet Masks and fell in love with the technology and how gentle and effective each mask was on their skin. Back in the UK they found the colder weather and our need to use central heating a lot of the year lead to their skin becoming dried out and dehydrated, a concern shared by a lot of British woman, and missing their beloved sheet masks, they started asking their family to send them a supply from Japan to keep their skin healthy and hydrated and finally decided their was a gap in the market for these amazing masks and begun to import the masks directly from Japan so that British women could treat their skin to an ‘at-home’ facial every night of the week without breaking the bank and as they say in Japan “Lovely your skin” as and when you want! Why B Beauty? Well in Japan Beauty or 美 (pronounced ‘B’ if you’re English) is an important part of everyday life and as a Japanese-English company Lisa and Madoka decided that this would be a fitting name for their new venture and hope that 美 Beauty will help your skin as much as it has helped theirs!
What’s the Hype?
These masks have been available in Korea and Japan for many years but are only just becoming widely available in the UK so we are finally able to access this amazing advanced technology and thanks to companies like B Beauty Limited we don’t have to pay the earth to experience perfect skin anymore! It’s said that K-Beauty technology is around ten years ahead of beauty products currently available on the UK High Street and sheet masks in particular are an amazing way to treat your skin to a topical pick-me-up that, due to the masks construction, make the essence easily absorbable and ensures it deeply penetrates the skin for maximum benefit. Made using Japanese cotton, these Korean Sheet Masks are easy to put on and take off, and contain no paragons making them suitable for all skin types including those of us with sensitive skin that is reactive to a lot of skin care. Each mask contains a unique, targeted blend of essences along with Aloe Vera and the luxurious cotton of the mask forms a second skin to make treating your skin comfortable as well as easy!
Key Product Benefits
I received two masks from B Beauty but they have a wide range of targeted treatments to suit all skin types and concerns so they really do have a mask for everyone! The first I tried was their Retinol Infused Mask which is great for nourishing the skin and boosting skins moisture levels. Retinol is a form a Vitamin A which is essential for vision and when converted into Retinoid Acid is also essential for skin health too! It helps with skin elasticity and great to help slow down the effects of skin ageing by improving hydration, and protecting against environmental pollutants making it perfect to use after the gorgeous Summer we have just enjoyed and as it is suitable for all skin types everyone can enjoy this luxurious anti-ageing mask!
The second mask I tried was their Green Tea Infused Mask which contains a rich blend of teas, including Green Tea, White Tea, and Black Tea and is also great for combating harmful environmental damage as it is naturally rich in anti-oxidants which help to protect skin from free radicals and has potent anti-inflammatory properties which help to firm and hydrate your skin by preventing collagen breakdown.
Both the masks are great for keeping skin looking and feeling healthy and are infused with a variety of essences as well as their main active ingredient including Aloe Vera which eases and mitigates inflammation on the skin and works in harmony with the other natural ingredients contained within each sheet mask to help even out skin tone, relieve dry and sensitive skin and add an immediate radiance boost to your skin making each mask ideal for use on a daily basis and with no special preparation required in order to use these masks they are a super quick and easy way to look after your skin with the latest Korean technology!
How much does it Cost?

Where can I get it?
All B Beauty Limited ‘Lovely your Skin’ Japanese Cotton Infused Sheet Masks are available from the B Beauty website!
As I said I haven’t had much experience with K-Beauty but I have tried a few Westernised Sheet Masks recently, so I was really excited to try a real Korean-made Sheet Mask! Each mask gives you a single treatment, so I was lucky enough to get two treatments from B Beauty, the first was an anti-ageing Retinol Infused Mask and the second was an anti-oxidant rich Green Tea Infused Mask, both of which are great for improving skins firmness and elasticity as well as improving the general appearance of the skin making them perfect for a post Summer pick-me-up and a real treat for my hormonal Summer skin! Both masks were really cooling and soothing on my skin, but the Green Tea Mask felt the most refreshing for me, and really perked up my skin, turning my complexion from dull and lacklustre to radiant in just thirty minutes. I love how easy these masks are to use, they are great quality and their cotton formula make them much more comfortable than some paper or synthetic sheets I have tried previously and each pouch also gives you more than enough product to treat your neck and décolletage too which is great for sun-exposed skin. The packaging is bright and bold, and although these masks are made in Korea, they have easy to follow instructions in English on each packet and at just £2.49 each these luxe skin care treats are not only amazing for your skin, they are also friendly to your purse too! These masks easily rival more expensive Western masks I have tried and their super soft cotton makes them feel fabulous on your face, and they really do ‘Lovely your Skin’ in just thirty minutes! Overall I would genuinely recommend taking a look at B Beauty Limited for an affordable way to give your skin a K-Beauty treat and their Green Tea Infused Mask was definitely my first choice as it not only left my skin feeling firmer and looking fresh and radiant, it also helped to calm my hormonal break outs which was a real blessing!
