The Pro’s and Con’s

There are several stationery based subscription services to choose from in the UK and being a total stationery addict I am have made it my mission to sample as many as I can over the past few months and when I heard that a new subscription was starting I was super excited to see what Proper Post was going to bring to the subscription box table and I have to say, over the four months since they launched Proper Post have really impressed me with their quirky and unique service that not only offers a minimum of seven items per month, but also offers the option to personalise your parcel by choosing up to two of your treats yourself AND you are also able to add on items such as postage stamps, kids cards, note pads and other stationery essentials to every order making this subscription service super flexible and perfect for people who have a habit of ‘forgetting’ special occasions – we all know at least one friend who is happy to take gifts and cards but is always ‘too busy’ to give them in return now don’t we – as well as being a fun way to be the ‘good friend’ who never forgets a birthday while adding some fun pencils and pins to your own stationery collection!  The price is really reasonable too and with both yearly subscription options currently coming with an exclusive Proper Post Pin designed by Pin Perfectionists Nutmeg and Arlo and a handy storage box to stash all your new stationery in you really are getting a lot of products for your pennies each month!  I love that you can personalise your monthly boxes and that you can add on items as well to make sure you never miss a birthday ever again!  Their monthly themes are super fun and very different from other stationery boxes around at the moment making them stand out from the crowd been more and their handy one-off and trial boxes gives them great gift appeal too!  They also offer a handy reminder service which means you get monthly email updates so when ever you have an upcoming birthday or anniversary to celebrate – Proper Post will make sure you don’t forget it!  How fabulous is that!  Their service is also so new that it is constantly developing so you will be able to enjoy seeing your monthly subscription evolve month by month and as they are already looking at offering limited edition parcels and an online shop I cant wait to see what the next few months have to offer!  I love this box and have to say although it is a little more expensive than other stationery subscriptions around at the moment, the amount of products you get and the variety and flexibility of each box makes it worth the extra few pounds per month and as P&P is included with every subscription option, your monthly cost actually works out much more comparable than you first think!  I can’t wait to get my first Proper Post Parcel to arrive and will continue to enjoy my regular stationery hits every month too!
