What is the Hype about Sheet Masks?
Worrying about fine lines? Does your skin need a bit of glow? Or it just feels like you have a desert on your face? Well a Sheet Mask may be just what your skin is crying our for! So let’s start with the basics, a Sheet Mask is a handy, single use face mask thats been soaked in a rich essence or serum (a liquid-based formula) which works with the masks material or the Sheet (usually a Cotton or Paper based material) to help skin gain the full benefits of the formula without the drying side effects of some more traditional masks, and as they are always single use, they are also more hygienic, easier to store and totally travel safe too! A Sheet masks is almost like a little energy boost for the skin which helps it deal with whatever skin care concern is bothering you whether that be Acne, Dryness or Premature Ageing. They include highly concentrated naturally active substances which are absorbed by the skin while wearing the mask and most work in around 15 to 30 minutes depending on the individual formula.
Sheet Mask Facts from Sheet Happens
- Sheet masks are meant to be used as quick, convenient facial to achieve clearly visible and noticeable effects
- The sheet helps the serum to soak in the skin a little longer than paste-type face mask and is not drying the skin
- The sheet itself can be made from fabrics like cotton, paper, gel type or other fibres
- They are individually packed, ready to use without any special preparations
- Totally opposite to creams, sheet masks include film forming ingredients which create an invisible layer that absorbs directly in to the skin and begins to work immediately
- There is no need to washing them off with water after you’ve finished as the leftover essence will be absorbed by skin or you can gently pat it into your face for an extra boost
- The sheet prevents quick evaporation of the essence and extends the time that the ingredients require to penetrate deep into the skin
- There is no right order for when to put your sheet mask, but Sheet Happens recommend you put your Masks on after serum but before eye cream and moisturiser

Am I a Subscriber?
Yes! As soon as this Subscription launched I subscribed to the service as I can’t get enough Sheet Masks and I love the idea of a subscription devoted solely to Sheet Masks as they are just amazing skin care tools and something everyone should be using as part of their regular skin care routine!
The Pro’s and Con’s
Obviously this subscription isn’t going to be for everyone as it is purely based around Sheet Masks and if you are anything like my husband, you may find them a little weird, but if you are like me and absolutely love them and can’t get enough of these nourishing skin care treats this subscription will be perfect for you as they supply between 8 and 10 masks in each monthly box giving you more than enough masks to keep your skin looking sparkling and they also include a selection from across the skin care concern pool too, so you won’t need to worry about whether you’ll get something that suits your skin type as whether you have oily skin, dry skin or hormonal skin, Sheet Happens will include a mask to keep your skin looking good! Sheet Masks are also notoriously good all rounders, so even if you have dry skin, a mask targeted for acne prone skin will also be fine to use as all Sheet Masks are intensively nourishing and hydrating and won’t strip your skin in any way! The Box price is a little expensive as far as monthly Subscriptions go, coming in at just over £30.00 including P&P but as you can cancel and re-subscribe the Sheet Happens Box is really flexible and allows you to take breaks as and when you need to and as they always choose the hottest masks trending in the K-Beauty world, you will always be sure you’ll be getting the latest K-Beauty technology delivered to your door each month with out waiting weeks for it to arrive and pay Customs charges once it does, so really, compared to a lot of US based boxes it is actually around £10-20 cheaper overall! There are some great brands already on board for the launch box in March 2017 including firm favourites Innesfree, Mediheal (a personal favourite) and Holika Holika along with a wide selection of mask types including hydrogels, cotton and cellulose masks in each box you will get to sample al styles of mask as well as masks from big name K-Beauty brands too! Overall I am excited to see what my March Box brings and think this is just the kind of Box we have been crying out for in Europe! It is a great idea and from the previews I have seen so far, it looks like Sheet Happens have done a great job putting their boxes together!
